Proverbs 13

Decent obeys his father; Doofus mocks his.

Decent always tells the truth and is respected; Doofus lies and embarrasses himself.

Decent watches what he says and prospers; Doofus blabs his mouth and gets into fights.

Doofus often has to fight to defend his pride; Decent humbly listens to criticism.

Doofus often goes hungry; Decent always has a full meal.

Doofus is never satisfied; Decent is content.

Doofus pretends to be rich; Decent lives within his means.

Doofus blows his money; Decent saves some from every paycheck.

Decent beats his kids; Doofus spoils his.

Decent will leave his children a large inheritance; Doofus will leave his debts.
