Deuteronomy 34: Moses Dies

After Moses took his leave of the Hebrews, he hiked across the plains of Moab and climbed Mount Nebo. From there, God showed him all the land that It had promised the Hebrews. Then Moses died, and God buried him in a secret place somewhere in the valley.

The Hebrews mourned thirty days, then Joshua led them across the Jordan. But there’s never been a prophet as awesome as Moses since.

That wraps up Deuteronomy and Moses. We’ll start Joshua next time.
